Trap Neuter Return
The most humane and most effective way to help the overpopulation problem of community cats.
TNR improves the lives of the feral cats, improves the relationships with the people who live near them, and decrease the size of colonies over time.
Cats are humanely trapped and taken to a veterinarian to be neutered and vaccinated. After recovery, the cats are returned to their outdoor home area. Cats and kittens who are friendly and socialized to people may be adopted into homes.
TNR stops the breeding cycle of cats and therefore improves their lives while preventing reproduction.
Benefits of TNR
-The population will stabilize to zero, the cats will no longer reproduce.
-Cats become better neighbors, the cat's relationship with residents improves. Colonies become quieter cats will no longer yowling and fighting.
-Cats live long, healthy lives as their physical health improves after being fixed. They gain weight and stray less.
